Digital Media Support for CDC and FDA Platform for Tobacco
Project Country: United States
Contracting Agency and Office: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Digital Platform uses a suite of application programming interfaces to help agencies cost-effectively share resources with their public health partners, build upon existing innovative digital work, and better target tobacco messaging to their audiences. The Platform: streamlines content sharing and fosters collaboration across agencies, connecting partners, expert communities, and nontraditional groups (like private, nonprofit, and digital organizations); enhances efficiency with one technology that updates, shares, tracks, and evaluates digital assets; disseminates trusted, innovative products with an open platform; centralizes metric standards for data-driven communication and technology decisions; and supports the Federal Digital Strategy with open-source development, providing flexibility to grow with new initiatives.
Danya supports the CDC and FDA Digital Media Platform for Tobacco through strategy support, communication support, development of digital products, and support in evaluating various digital media communication efforts. We provide: support for the Tobacco Digital Media Strategy, Roadmap, and Community/Partner Engagement; technical research and evaluation support; creative concept and prototype development of digital media products; digital media product development; evaluation of products and the tobacco platform; engagement with stakeholders who would use the platform; and recommendations for content management.
